Johnson 7 Challenge

Ok,
Here it is. The Johnson 7 Challenge.
Really, anything goes.
This is about improving the quality of your life, and others’ lives.
It’s about learning how to make the most of each day. How to make you happy. How to make others happy.
Every day, you must do something “special”. Something you wouldn’t normally do. Something that is out of your comfort zone, something that you wouldn’t normally take the time to do, something you wouldn’t think to do for someone else.
Some days, this can be utterly selfish. If it will improve the quality of your day, improve your knowledge (HOMEWORK DOES NOT COUNT) or just make you more pleasant to be around – go ahead and do something “special” for yourself.
Play a funny joke on someone – it’ll make both your days more exciting and create a memory. Do something random with someone.
Send a letter/package to a friend. Talk to someone who is sitting by themselves. Make a new friend. Give someone a ride somewhere.
Just do something every day that puts a smile on your face, and preferable someone else’s, too.
Then post about it. Attach a picture if you can. It doesn’t have to be lengthy. Just report.
Some things should be more elaborate – but some things can be really small, just do SOMETHING!
Then at Christmas time, when we’re all together, we will have a judgment on all our acts, rate them from 1-5, and the winner gets something spectacular.
Monday, October 1 – Wednesday, October 31st is the challenge period.

  1. I wish this would have already started as I have already done something WAY outside my comfort zone and today we put big smiles on each others faces--it started with dad throwing a rag in the sink which splashed me. When I complained he apologized and proceeded to really splash me so I throw water on him--and Kenzie. Which sparked Kenzie to splash me and then I really got dad wet. SO Kenzie threw a whole pann of water at me--while I was taking a drink. So not only was I wet, the floor wet but because I was choking I had to spit my water alll over the floor--BTW I almost died from choking. But we had a great laugh and the floor got clean!! Made me think of the mess I would have had had 4 more children been there to participate!!
