I'm in a new ward. It's awkward to start a new ward, especially when you don't know anyone and you don't have anyone to go to church with you.
But I've made huge efforts to not be shy and to meet people. So today I was very out going and commented in Sunday school and met people.

Would your roommate be willing to go with you? Where does the ward meet? That is awkward. I know it is hard. You are a champion!! You will do great, even though it is hard.
