Dad day 5

Hi Guys, I am still brainstorming on our Family Christmas plans and need some feedback on gift giving. I was thinking that as our family continues to grow we will need to introduce a plan for Christmas gift giving. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me for each of you to exchange gifts with 4 other siblings, 2 brothers in law and 2 parents. I propose that we start this Christmas with a draw or some other system where each of you only needs to buy a present for one family member. It will make the gift buying more special and a whole lot easier if you only give and receive one gift from your siblings. We can modify the plan as nieces and nephews (i.e., Mom and my grandkids) start showing up.  Mom and I would probably continue to get each of you something, because we like to and we are the boss.

Please let me know what you think of this idea and if you have any suggestions. One possibility is that I could draw names and let each of you know who to buy for this Christmas and then at Christmas time in Yellowstone you could draw your own names for next year. Mom had an idea that who ever you drew could be your secret sibling for the entire year culminating in a gift at Christmas, but maybe also including something special at your birthday or just for no reason at all. All suggestions are welcome and we will probably have to fine tune this over a period of years.
