Mom Day 5

It is kind of fun to be the FIRST to POST.  I do not have anything to try to aspire to--just my own thing.  Don't get me wrong, I am trying to do worthwhile things.  So today I FINALLY got around to putting in the death information that I sent for on your great great Grandpa Barnes.  This would be Grandma Johnson's grandfather: John Henry Barnes.  I was hoping to find out who his parents are.  The death certificate shows Charles Barnes as the father but no listed mother.  Charles Barnes died of Brights disease due to alcoholism.  He suffered from this for two years.  Brights disease is a disease of the kidney's.  If he suffered with this for two years, I wonder how much he suffered.  He would not have had dialysis back in the late 1800's.  It must have been miserable for him.  He was born in Kentucky.  That is all it says.  I hope to find more on him, but this is a start.  Have a great day family.  It is Friday for me.  Oh, today I also hope to sign up to vote.  That will be a Way good thing also.
