Today I planned to use serving on an Eagle Board of Review as my Johnson 7 challenge. After all, it is service to both the youth of the world and to my community. The only problem is that it is definitely not out side of my comfort zone. As I was leaving the office I got a call from a colleague in a different building who needed a ride home. I didn't think that I had time to take him and still be on time for the Board of Review. I would have said that I was committed, but I was thinking about the Johnson 7 challenge so I told him that I could take him home. As it turns out, I got him home and still made the Board of review with less than a minute to spare. Fortunately there were no police on the way or my decision to try to do too much would have been met with a not so pleasant outcome. Day 1 rocks.

I bet you were glad! Plus, then you didn't have to sit around and wait for the boar of review to start!
ReplyDeleteGood Job Jer. I was wondering how "colleague" was going to fit into your board of review post!! I am anxious to read what we all come up with today. Let the fun begin.
ReplyDeleteGo Dad! I was impressed with this post. The board of review wouldn't have counted!! It wasn't a special thing you did! You do it all the time! But driving your colleague home definitely counts!
